John Ellison Canadian Marine Artist 1911-1957

I have a few reasons for creating a website dedicated to John Ellison and his art. The main one is so that individuals who have some of John’s artwork in their homes will be able to find out more about him and see other works of his. Another reason would be to let the art world know that there are a few John Ellisons who were creating art in the 20th century and to ensure that we attribute all works of art by “John Ellison” to the correct artist. I suppose lastly, I would like to collect more of his work as one of his few remaining living relatives and a fan of his work. So if anyone is wanting to sell or donate any of his work I would be glad to give them a new home.
